Problem:
The publishers for this new edition of "S." wanted the cover design to reflect the novel's major themes.
Solution:
For this project, chose an off-screen approach to create a cover design that effectively communicated the essence of the novel "S.". "S." is a game of two halves: a traditional novel encased in an experimental narrative in which two readers pass notes to one another in the margins. Just as "S." creates a wholeness out of diffuse messages, I aimed to capture the sense of many small parts coalescing to build something larger.
